PRESS RELEASE
Maine Commercial Tire has been servicing the heavy equipment tire needs in Maine with its four locations for more than 30 years. For 25 of those years MCT operated a location on Leighton Road in Augusta that was too small for them the day they moved in. This February the 4,000-square-foot Augusta location was closed and operations moved to the 16,000-square foot former Ryder Truck terminal at 30 Industrial Parkway in Waterville.
With three acres of asphalt and drive through bays, the new location will provide a much more efficient customer experience than was possible at the Augusta location. According to a statement provided by the company, the new location will continue to offer drive in service, emergency road service, fleet tire maintenance, new and Bandag retread tire products, as well as aluminum wheel polishing and steel wheel refinishing.
Maine Commercial Tire, founded in 1990, was conceived to supply new tires, retreaded tires, and service to the many trucking businesses in Maine. In addition to the new Waterville location, the company operates commercial and heavy equipment tire service centers in Lewiston, Scarborough and Hermon, Maine.
