The Food and Drug Administration is implementing requirements for shippers, carriers and receivers engaged in the transportation of food, including food for animals, to use sanitary transportation practices to ensure the safety of the food throughout the supply chain.  Mr. Stringer will review this and some of the important aspects of the cargo claims process.
